Rusty's Story

Rusty’s journey began in a heartbreaking place. A small, scruffy stray kitten, he was being cruelly tossed into a creek by a group of middle schoolers when a kindhearted woman stepped in and rescued him.

Scared, soaked, and shivering, Rusty was brought to our rescue where his new life truly began.

We immediately got him checked out by our vet, made sure he was healthy, and provided everything he needed: neutering, vaccinations, and a microchip for his safety. 

Despite his rough start, Rusty had a gentle spirit and a spark in his eyes that told us he was meant for something special. That special something turned out to be a forever home with our very own rescue founder. Today, Rusty is living his best life—safe, loved, and spoiled as every cat should be. He’s the heart of our rescue, the reason behind our name, and a daily reminder of why we do what we do.
